Finding our house was one of the best moments ever.

We were exhausted from looking. We were frustrated with scheduling and taking the time to go see houses. We weren't even very excited about looking at the one we bought, but hey we had already looked at a couple dozen, why not one more?

A month or so to previously purchasing our house we had a placed a bid on another that we really liked. In all honestly I liked that house but was secretly hoping that our bid will fall through because it just didn't feel right. Thank goodness that it fell through because someone else had a cash offer. Can't compete with that.

Something just clicked when we looked at our house, even with the brown shag carpet, extremely ugly kitchen and outdated paneling we knew that we could make this house our home. 

So this is the story of our remodel. It is definitely going to be a long crazy journey, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
